Is realism in vogue in Bollywood?

Amitabhji please retire. You have run out of variety and you always look Amitabh from KBK in the movies. Retire when the time is right or this public is about to throw you down just like they did to your then competitor Mr. Rajesh Khanna, though I must say his movies are better than yours.

How about changing the content

Changing hairstyles and sporting different styles of beard are all OK, but as long as actors don't use their brains and try to validate their roles in a particular scene, the content of a movie will continue to be "unrealistic". Movies really need realism in content more than realism in vogue

I hope this is only the first baby step towards a better and professional bollywood. Next I hope they start writing script first and then find actors rather than the other way around. Also please don't break into songs just for the heck of it. And getting rid of the 'comic relief' would be a big relief.

Am I asking for too much?
