I think devdas didnot deserve any award.What a horrible movie it is!!! A man succumbing to alcohol just because he couldnt get the girl he loved.Only those movies which have a strong subject will win oscars or BAFTA'S.Devdas was all about opulence and a young man's addiction to alcohol
Its amazing that Devdas didn't win the BEST MOVIE of the century award at BAFTA. I am lets say Shocked! We must try sending it to Nepal, Srilanka or Bangladesh(no offence meant) for their film awards.. before deciding its a piece of pure unadultrated crap.

it is so disheartening to see that indians do not know which is good and which is bad even after BAFTA hs rejected Devdas. Devdas is a crap movie it a BAD AMBASSADOR for indian movies, and ppl for god's sake grow up and come out of hero-heroine-run-around-tree bullshit.
