your opinion is very good.after reading the total information, i agree with you, beepashaa' figure & attractionis most attractive in new era.
The writer is entitled to his admiration for Bipasha but dubbing Karisma Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, Preity Zinta and Kareena Kapoor as "antiseptic toppers" is a little removed from reality. I am no fan of either of these ladies, mind you. They all have their pluses and minuses but to suggest that they are antiseptic is, well, naive.
There is something intriguing among some movie-goers. They will raise a toast to anyone who is different for the sake of being different. Zeenat had her charm but has always been dismissed as a non-actress par excellence. She made a mess of her charged role in 'Insaaf Ka Tarazu'... well, these things may be subjective but audiences of the 70s never expected any histrionics from Ms Aman. She shone because she was different and was packaged differently. But, Lord, she could be so irritating !
Bipasha is a looker and possibly has histrionic abilities. But there's nothing that will leave an indelible mark on Hindi cinema. It is good to see that she seeks different kinds of roles. But then, so does Harish Patel ! There's been absolutely nothing to suggest that Bips has acting talent beyond the ordinary.

Bips is no way close to Zeenat. Bips is neither talented nor beautiful. I think Sush is the right person to compare with Zeenat. Both are intelligent, talented and have a lot of similarities.
Hey just look at basic human nature of comparison.U seem to be making a big mistake just like everyone else of comparing one to another. u seem to know better that them of what they are.....take care and stop comparing

Well said..!! You could compare anything to anything and still have some common points... pretty obvious that most of those 'points' are so hopelessly contrived!!! I mean, it was fine saying that Bipasha is to hindi cinema today was Zeenat was in the 70's... and it is pretty evident to everyone.... but the writer here needlessly goes on a 'comparison-drive'. Just to fill in the 3000 word stipulation by rediff..eh..?
