All these women from Deepti Naval, to Rekha to Shabna Azmi to Deepa Mehta to Nandita Das to Meera Nair - r basically pseudo hypocrites. In the name of "Woman's lib" and "independence" they r trying to redifine womanhood. They have loads of ego and think they r big. They think "being independent" is a sign of "intellecutality". Sigh !!

Its a fashion to be "independent", to be "unmarried" and to talk of "women's lib".

These pseudo women are clueless and unfocussed. They don't understand the intricasies of "marrige" and internal concepts of womanhood.

They are the biggest hypocrites in the world.

If Rediff has guts, it will publish this post of mine. Otherwise, I conclude that even Rediff is one these psedo Hypocrites who do not have even mimimal guts to publish an authentic post like this..(basically a shame on Rediff to maintain a Posters Forum).

You seem to be doing the traditional route all your life and hence have no clue about what it means to be "independent". Why should women marry and learn the intricasies of marriage? Why are you confusing "independence" with "intellectuals". If an individual wants to live the way he/she wants, on her/his own terms, why are you bothered? You went the traditional route and you found respect for it along the way. Others did the opposite and found solace in their own path. Atleast they dared to be different and made their place in this man's world (that's not only hypocritical, it is very dangerous too). And if you are wondering let me tell you I'm a happily married man who has seen the world through experiences of my own.

Let me be frank at the outset. I have watched this movie and its no Big deal. The director in the first half repeats the same sequences again and again. Ans seriously I didn't understand what the director had in mind especially in terms of the message that he wanted to convey if he had any. It was not a movie that you talk after watching. The only thing about the movie is that it was not the same old love story..

With Regards
Murali
