I dont see any offence about the engineering which Anita said. I am an engineering graduate too. It was her perception about engg. at very first sight, provided she had a freedom to choose any field, so obviously any one would go for the one they mostly liked. Anyone in the world has a perception about other field which they not belong to. For example an engineering graduate may say choosing medical field is horrible, it doesn't mean that medical itself strange.
Would it be possible for me to write to Ms. Chandrasekharan directly? I find her evolution as a moviemaker very fascinating and would like to get to know her, Thanks, Siddharth.
Everything about the above article is fine...but that realization statement about engineering was just absurd....I wonder what made Anita realize that there is nothing creative about engineering....Maam, am sorry if I have to bring to your notice that Engineering has made great revolutions in this planet....now if you're using digital cameraz for your shots..itz not because of magic...but just good engineering If people have built it, grown it, moved it, or launched it into space, you can be sure that engineering had something to do with it. Throughout history, people have developed tools and machines to help them survive, prosper, and celebrate. Engineers have built temples, created live-saving technologies, and devised ways to communicate almost instantly with people on the other side of the world.
Now if you're targeting the GENERATION-X..do remember that most of them ARE Engineers..so please be careful when letting out statements like these :)

hi, As anita told in her interview that "there is nothing creative in Engineering." that is totally wrong, due to engineering only the economy of this country improved a lot, and today we are in much better condition. due to engineers only she is expecting her movie to be a big hit...Due to engineering only she was able to complete her movie withing such short time period...with DIGITAL CAMERA !!!!(that is innovated by some engineer !!!)
