Dear Anu , Lataji is seldom singing for a while now. When composing for LOC , did you think of approaching Lataji for a song like Seemayen as it is just the type of song that in her voice would have become a classic ?
Dear Mr Malik, Thank you for the interview. Irrespective of all unfair and mischievous allegations, we know that you have the heart and mind of a music composer. To be honest I do not rate you at the same level as Mr RD Burman. But I do know that you have the versatility, originality, heart and the ear to one day rival him. As for copying tunes, even if you did take one or two from here or there, please don't get defensive about that. Even the legend Mr SD Burman has lifted tunes bodily of other songs (Eg tere mere milan ki yeh raina is a straight lift from a Rabindra Sangeet). Please keep up the good work. We all look forward to more gems like panchi nadiyan, aisa lagta hai or payali chunmun chunmun. All the best, Nilanjan Sen
