Let not others praise , but when A.R Rahman is gonna to learn to shower praises on those who was greatly responsible for his present popularity.
Will ARR show heap of praises only after their deaths and surely not when they are alive today?
Come on A.R , I thought you are a great human being, but your mental make up is too that of a self centered typical Indian! What do you call , a back stabbing ? No doubt you are great in your own way, there's no comparison, but dont forget to praise MSV or Illayaraja, the greatest of all times.

Having listened to most of ARR's compositions for the past 12 yrs. I really feel that ARR's works are just hyped up. He is more of a sound engineer and mixer, but I cannot agree he is a great composer. I am tempted to talk about Ilayaraja the genius who still has a great following in South india and Abroad. He is more of a composer in the leagues of Mozart, Beethovan. His music is more original and he is the king of melodies and BGM. It's a pity that he is not recognized much in North India. He was one who gave songs in Sadma like Yeh Zindagi gale lagaa naa. Whatever Rahman gives n terms of wesetrn music now, Ilayaraja has given it all before. But Raja is more complete and is incomparable.

What Rehman actually wanted to say or do is Thank Andrew Loyd Webber for his good words and praise. But he achieved it the typical Indian way of putting down the people back home. And by doing so he has identified himself as one of us.( Remember the Indian Crab story) Probably he had R D Burman in mind, who was praised by one and all but more so after his death. Do not worry Rahaman you are one of us, in words and in deeds - absolutly Brilliant
I have been enjoying rahman's music right from his first score in ROJA way back in 80s. Now for the past one year I am working in Bahrain. His music is different from others. I love him as a human being, his shy type, the way he has come up in his life, etc. I would request your goodself to provide me the personal e-mail id or postal address or telephone number of MR. A R RAHMAN at London, for me to write to him directly / personally.
Rehman's music is good and is different ,..but i think its too much to praise him that he is beyond sir.andrew webber lloyed or anyone for that matter. His music is simply a fusion with shared and borrowed ideas from musicians which normally a composser doesn't do.If u look at any famed compossers like Yanni or zubin mehta ,..they do their own compossitions and there is no influence of any musicician or their ideas,..but in rehmans case u see lot many contributions are there from musicians in his troup which are not his own idea but a borrowed idea.If thats the case any tom, dick or harry can do as many albums as he can.A true composser is one who writes his own ideas and composses to perfection.Rehman is a good sound engineer, conductor and rythm mixer.Any how ,overall ,Rahmans music is cool and really is worth hearing,.. i wish him all the success.
