First of all Ms Rohini Iyer writes a very biased review on rediff and now rediff gives the readers the wrong information about the Box office figures of KHNH. The movie has grossed $9,86,211. So how does rediff arrive at the one million figure? Rediff, please stop giving the readers biased reviews and wrong Box office figures

Kal Ho Naa Ho had a bumper opening in Mumbai ,Ahmedabad and Delhi city and at 'A' centres of U.P. but below par in remaining parts of U.P. , Bihar , C.P.C.I., Bengal and 'B' centres Rajasthand East Punjab (barring Gurgaon and Chandigarh ) . It was also hit by a re-released Tere Naam in Central india . Perhaps a release on Wednesday and it could have been a different story altogether as audience would have got a choice between it and Janasheen.
Janasheen on the other hand a commercial potboiler had nothing to loose as Fardeen has negligible clout at the box office and many consider Firoz Khan as being over the hill .The opening of Janasheen was excellent across India .
Verdict :- The 30 cr Kal Ho Naa Ho has a tough battle ahead and may become a blockbuster in the overseas , hit in Mumbai territory , South and Delhi city and would range from overflow to covergae n other circuits . In a nutshell , its returns will be 'A1' from 'A' centres , 'B' from 'B' class centres and 'C' from 'C' class centres however the film may find it difficult to cover its cost in Bihar and C.P.C.I.
The 17 cr Janasheen , thanks to the excellent start it took, may sale safe in some circuits like Mumbai , Delhi-U.P. , Bihar , Punajb and Rajasthan , the low price which the distributors film is a major advantage .
