tere naam is a remake from a tamil movie SETHU which hit all the tamilnadu theatres 2 years back which filled all the houses full for more than 100 days in average. it was remade in telugu with the name seshu. now it has been made in hindi.. Ilayaraja had done a magnificient bgm for sethu.
I watched the movie and do not think it deserves a HIT tag.On the other hand, hero of the movie is smoking cigarrates all the time in the movie, he is pretty voilent and could be a very bad influence on the collage going kids.I think people should stop making such movies. I know whats coming in your minds , all right I will keep away myself from such movies but what about the influenece its going to leave on the kids.
Tere Naam is a superb movie with all charecters performing terifically.Salmaan has overshadowed Hritik's performance in Koi Mil Gaya with his one in Tere Naam.Indeed Salmaan is the Best....
Reading the story line for the film, it seems it is a remake of a not so good telugu movie SESHU..which inturn was a remake of a hit tamil movie. Now if the director wants to take credit for making a nonoriginal film, it sucks.

I think in this film Salman Khan has proved all the negative publicity he got from Vivek obrio and showed the crictics that he can do acting with and without shirts. Salman Khan in Tere Naam has proved that he can do any kind of roles without any difficulty. This film does not resembles his original life story but has real flavour of originality.
