It's one of the very rare romantic film ever been release before in India. Very emotional as well as a superb film. Both the stars really deserved a Wiining awards specially Salman.
I was never a great fan of Salman, but out of curiosity I saw this movie coz people said it was his real life story. Well, not only I felt that Salman did a very-very good job in the movie but the story also resembles his real life problematic affair with Aishwarya!! In real life, since the time Salman met Ash, his 7-1/2 yrs Saturn (sade-satti) started (there was dialogue in the movie too!!) and that kind of did so much damage to his personal and professional life, that its incredible!! I hope Salman finds his love in real life coz nobody should suffer like this (and I know that he is suffering). Good luck Salman. Hope that sapphire helps ;-)
