The Jain community is a silent, non-violent, industrious, god-fearing one as far as I have known its members. It is unfortunate that the irreverent film personalities who are not known for any virtue should provoke this community by their cheap songs.These filmvalas can never understand the significance of the nudity of the statue. I condemn the song to the extent it is susceptible of wide misinterpretation --even though they may disclaim any intent to offend the community. I for one am for scrupulously avoiding the least innuendo against any community and most so the Jain community. When there is any doubt reference must be made by the censors to respectable representatives of the community concerned. D.Raja Ganesan
