Beauty Queens

No offense, but I agree with Bharat! All these Miss India Winners, of late, are doing nothing more productive than serve for the 3 hour entertainment for all the common folks of India...and I don't know about you, but that's not exactly productive, you know! Of course I'd understand if these ladies even had a semblance of acting skills within them, but unfortunately, they aren't even smart enough to realize that their 'looks' doesn't compensate for the lack of any talent they may have.

I must say I expected so much more from Lara dutta and Celina Jaitely. They looked like they had something more than air in their heads...and they just might. But there they go, opting for their two minutes of fame and glamour, than going the right way of helping out the orphans like they said they would! pity...

so this miss worlds r for cashing in money n fame, not for the promises they make during their fashion competetions,
so whats the difference between them n politicians,
some promise to built sports stadiums, others want to help orphans, others want to serve like mother teresa,so where r this indian beauty peagants now, almost all of them in bollywood showing thier hips n turns with some spoilt rich sons of yesteryears actors/producers etc.
y doesnt this so called baeuty queens do atleast one good service in their whole life before dying, maybe they think money will make them immortality.
think over,
jai bharat.

Nafisa Ali (2nd Runner Up in Miss International) well-known film personality of yesteryear, who is now one of the countrys leading campaigners against the dreaded disease. Nafisa Ali has made Delhi the main area of her fight against HIV and set up her own organisation called Action India Trust for the purpose.

If my friend would have searched a little on the net he would have found many such examples. Give them a break after all they have a life to live and "Promises are fulfilled" What may I ask this gentleman has done for his community?
