Not interested in any story, want to know how much money, govt. could fetch from his assets and what is left over. Regarding legal issues, will continue for 10 to 20 years due to our defective system. People do not have faith in them.
After this incidence has come to light one can see a pattern the way the fugitives from Mallya to Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi ...are being allowed to escape under Modi govt.watch.We are yet to learn more about fleeing of the two diamond merchants and their other family members so far but in case of Mallya things are crystal clear needing a probe for sure. One, the bankers with total due of Rs9KCr from Mallya delayed going to court requesting for seizure of his passport and timed it to just after he fled the country. It looks more than just a coincidence. Two, FM, Arun jaitely under whom all the PSU banks function and must be aware of all the recovery steps, neither bothered to advise the banks for such timely action since 2015 when Mallya's case had been actively pursued by his govt. nor himself stop him when he met him the day before departure by alerting the authorities with 'look out notice' issued against him. Third, the dilution of look out notice itself from 'detain' to just 'report'. Now the extradition procedure is going to cost in $ millions and there is no guarantee he will be extradited. Given this background somebody has to be made accountable and a probe is a must for that. It is a very fit case for filing a PIL too in SC and in fact SC can take suo-motu cognizance and issue a notice to center.
Re: PROBE IS ESSENTIAL ON MALLYA'S ESCAPE IN NICK OF TIME

(contd.)Unlike UPA, Modi govt. looks very good in media management the way majority of the media are not questioning Modi govt. on his fleeing the country but harping on MMS govt's liberal loans to Mallya, singing Modi govt. tune instead.
Why is Jaitley so defensive about Mallya ? There is nothing wrong if he met Mallya briefly. If the NDA is really keen on promoting industry, they have to keep in touch with businessmen and not shun them. It is the BJP who started this business of ostracizing businessmen , by asking why MMS met Mallya. This is a perfectly normal thing in Govt to do.
Who takes official appointment to bribe someone to flee country and who gives official appointments for the same.... These things happen in unofficial ways

Useless man with equally useless commenbts,Why Mallaya was running after Jaitley in the corridor of parliament when jaitley was moving ahead of him ? Why this fat person took trouble of running behind jaitley if he could have met him anywhere outside ?
mr jait lie, yest it IS factually false that mallya took an appointment with and met you...
but it is NOT factually false that mallya met you without appointment not in your office but at some other place and had a lengthy talk with you about the loan situation...

Brainless Veda, why dont you ask the party you blindly follow to find out. I dont think they will sit silently if Mallaya really met Jaitley in his office. jaitley was senior most counsel praticing in Supreme court and is not an idiot like you to entertain mallaya.
Whether meeting is by appointment or bumping into each other in the corridors of parliament,it is quite evident that Mallya and Jaitley did meet. What transpired at that time is now being disputed by the FM. Mallya made two points in his press talk. First, he wanted to settle the bank dues for which Jaitley told him to talk to bankers. Second is the most important thing. Mallya told Jaitley that he was going abroad. It is here that there is an element of error on the part of FM, which is why he is denying the second part. FM should have taken immediate action to prevent Mallya from leaving the country. Why did he fail to do this?

This was not Arum Jaitley's job to work on preventing Mallya from leaving India. It is enough that he did not facilitate him to leave India which the Congress Leaders would have possibly done!

Instead of asking Jaitley, to resign, why not tell Mallya, to come back and face the probe , pay up the money and get free ... An absconders words are given importance ... this is what the Congress is capable of .

You can tell Mallya a thousand times, but will he come back ? Even the Uk Courts may give us a shock on Dec 10th, let's not be overconfident.

Why would Jaitley resign. A few years ago Swaraj and Raje were caught red handed aiding LaMo's extended stay in UK. Did anything happen to them ? In fact they are favourites of the PM now.
