Petrol & Diesel price
by electronic centre on Sep 11, 2018 01:13 PM  | Hide replies

Guessing that this govt. would bring Petroleum price under periphery of GST just before announcement of general election in 2019, cutting the price to almost half, under stiff opposition of state govt.s .
It is Indira Gandhi's style of working. Let the thing allowed to increase to sky high, then suddenly cut it from the root. And take the credit in election result.

This is exactly whhat Modi and Sha's strategy to beat the ghatnandhan ,just before the generall elections. But it takes a long time till January or so. But before that BJP will definitely lose two states that are going to elections shortly .This may prompt them to take action at least at that time.In fact, common man is suffering more because of raise in oil prices than gold ,which is the effect of cost of living.

hopefully indians will realize now that subsidies are not necessarily bad....

subsidies are given for a reason...they are there for the welfare of the general public...for example take delhi metro after price rise very few travel by metro...

subsidies are there for petrol, education, ration food, public transport because not all citizens can afford it and we must think about them also... the aim is to provide affordable services...some things are not for profiteering...

If the prices are going high and government is unable to reduce it by its own, as responsible citizen we should reduce the consumption at the possible extent. Use cars in pool and utilize automobiles at optimum capacity. Avoid frequent movements and if possible using your smartphone, stop using cars on week ends.prefer walking for short distance.By stopping your cars on Red lights only you can save 5% of fuel.

BALANCE THE EQUATION OF FUEL PRICES
by on Sep 11, 2018 11:28 AM  | Hide replies

People are worried that due to increase in Diesel and Petrol prices the inflation is increasing. Govt. should reduce the price of Diesel which is consumed largely by transporters. if rate of diesel is brought down to Rs. 50/litre. Consumers will get necessary items at lower price. Govt should encourage increase in Public transport ( BUSES) particularly increase the fleet of BEST TO 10000 TO 12000 Nos. and keep increase in Petrol price . This will discourage car owners to ply cars. Govt. should also reduce production of Petrol cars. Take a survey and disallow purchase of more than 2 cars. This will help in reducing traffic jams and pollution.
