it is no doubt that by having the GST and NOTE BANDI has brought lot of people / individual in taxession as well the trade merchants etc.. however, the citizens must understand that more the people do come in to tax net work then better for the country on internal spending. AMERICA has shown the fruits and benefits it got due to service tax etc... in fact first time in INDIA there is govt. who is not willing to be compromising on any front and not giving away on people pressures etc.. like fuel prices ... educated & learned citizens must appreciate this as present govt. is showing few of the results as they are task masters rather than BANAN REPUBLIC if the average person earning 20000 month then spending few on his commuting should not be so much of hipe ...as he easily spends on eating as well shopping large extras ..yes..the average INDIAN should get the benefits in liue as subsidy but not the petrol and other stuff... if govt. intentions are RIGHT ( no corruption no appeasement equality etc.. progress ) then one should have enough patience to see the progress of INDIA du to having quality revenue on internal spending which can only happen from increasing the TAX NETWORKING and collection

Last year, people were converting their unaccounted money into accounted for, now actual figures is coming. Fools are tax authorities who are taking such huge projections. Our FM and few of his associates live in dream legal world where everyone is thief, whereas biggest thieves are politicians and govt. servants who are earning bribe and non taxable income in one way or other. Common man tries to adjust his expenditure in such manner, where he can save tax, whereas the above two classes everything as perqs. and save tax.

Good one arun. BTW we all must also know , what % of tax collection comes from Service tax part of GST. Its rate of 18% , which has been hiked by our beloved Govt from 12% has a draconian share in GST . This year we can expect addl Itax collection from transporters lobby by appx 12000 Cr ( deemed income). jai Hind

Politicians and a few govt servants are big thieves, true.
But the biggest of all thieves are bandits such as the Ambanis, Adanis, Agarwals, etc !
In well regulated economies, big businessmen become rich chiefly due to sheer business acumen, the ability to spot opportunities and cash in on them.
In India, they become so very rich only because they secretly fund (with black money, of course) the increasingly expensive election campaigns and party work of extremely corrupt political parties (BJP and Congress) and are allowed to rip off public wealth in return !
