Good news but let us not gloat over it.

Still, one of the major irritants i.e ENFORCING CONTRACTS is languishing at more than 100 (about 122 if I remember correctly).
This is very very important-specially for the small enterpreneur/businessperson.
e g Post dated are no longer accepted by any sane person because we cannot enforce the payment. Thousands of cases of cheque dishonoring are lying in the courts unresolved. These can be resolved by simple decisions of the courts keeping in mind that 'the rule of law is to be followed'.
This should be cleared immediately.

That brings us to the biggest challenge for India -- the excruciatingly slow justice delivery and the humongous ever-growing case backlog.

As long as this is not solved, India can never claim its rightful place at the front.

This problem affects everything:

--Contract enforcement
--Common man's lack of faith in getting justice (leads to instant justice thru lynchings).
--Inadequate deterrence against crime rate, including crimes against women.

In short, the judicial delay problem is strangling our growth and development on both social and economic fronts.

Wonder where are all the scum bag pundits who attack government

Wonder where are all the low life scum bag pundits who said policies of government are depriving people of doing business, stymieing them and so on.

Whens things work, media never appreciates the policies.

Even if things are neutral, a truck load of ch^iyas descend into mediadcape and attack the government.

Good News

This is an extremely Good Reflection of an entire trade and commerce ecosystemof the Nation constantly transforming into pure business-sense in the leadership of a Gujju-CEO admired for his commitment to a Nationalism-Driven-Vision of a prosperous nation that congressis and the officials of that ancient era had sought to kill in the typical-colonial-mentality-driven excuse that India is over-populated and nothing can be done about its socio-economic environment right upto the corridors of power which is the pre-determinant of its capability in the world of trade and commerce., especially from the large international investor-perspective. Team-Modi is breaking all those "anti-national" myths created by the crooked nehru-led-congress-culture in every sphere of the nation's life.

I wonder why Bhakts on this forum prefer such ultra-long sentences gushing with so many flowery adjectives.

Or is it due to the kind of training they receive when they join the Troll Team?

Curious to know -- how did the foreign trips improve ranking of ease of doing business?

The article mentions a whole bunch of areas where improvement happened, but I don't see any connection between those improvement areas and the PM's foreign trips. For example, how did the PM's foreign trips improve the speed with which electrical connections were given in New Delhi?

Ease of doing business is a measure for international investors to check how business friendly the country is. How do you find the solutions if you cannot understand what problems investors have. You can only improve based on the needs of the investors and bilateral trade policies.

Is that an explanation of how the PM's foreign trips improved ease of doing business?

The "jhumlaabaazi" description stays.

It stays as long as the following failures remain (these are just areas were te BJP had mocked and criticized prev govt's failures or limited success, and promised to do better):

---Cross-bolder attacks and infiltrations, and casualty-rates in daily attacks on civilians, journalists, cops on duty, cops off duty, and security forces, in J&K.

---Blatant and brazen cheating of Andhra Pradesh, on all entitlements formally and officially committed in Parliament and outside, by current govt, and by BJP. (And then inventing a series of pathetic lies and excuses to try to deny or justify or cover up)

---Failure to prove a single case of corruption against prev Central govt, after coming to power in 2014.

---Failure to generate employment. (even after counting statue-building and vadaa-paav vending as job creation)
