Normally no where, harassment is a part of working life. Sexual relations are not possible without direct or indirect consent barring beastly rapes. We all must save working conditions and appeal to finish one sided laws only favouring women. Already in govt. sector no one can even ask from any woman or SC or ST for any work whether done or not, whether bribe is taken or not or any issue due to psychological fear among seniors to be framed.

it is not true always. at least in private jobs, such harassment is an art to subjugate a women employee to fall in line or else leave the organisation. any number of tricks e.g. giving difficult jobs, giving jobs where women is open to outside culture, asking her to go meet clients on her own, non provision of cabs when detained for extended hours etc etc is routine. it is all very well to talk of govt organisations; the larger part of women employee are in private sector. and the supposed protection by the act is only on paper.

Not agree to you, every thing costs to company for providing any extra. What about all such issues viz difficult jobs, abusive language etc.,etc., to males. Where they should go. When a lady comes for a job, certain issues she is to face like males, but law provides every issue to get linked with only sexual harassment.
