Every year after festive season prices are increased to, make provision for further discounts during new year. This is a marketing tactic.

Moreover rupee is strengthening over the past few weeks. The article is misguiding about that fact

Hello, it is the companies increasing the price.

You just wait for an opportunity to curse the govt.

BTW demonetization was for removing black money not reducing prices. We already recovered 33,000 crores of black money through demonetization.

Is the RBI governor lying when he said 99.6% money was back in with RBI after demo?
