railways to run medical colleges

This is a most retrograde move. Rlys. should concentrate on their core business of moving people and goods. As a matter of fact they should slowly wind down even the present huge infrastructure in running rly hospitals and provide for medical insurance for their employees and pensioners.

This is just a facility provided to railway officials to enroll their children to these medical colleges illegally.

No.Due to shortage of seats in postgraduation, mnedical graduates are subjected to great hardships, and have to face exploitative fees, by private colleges- 2 crores to 7 crores for a postgraduate seat!!! More government fee seats will only solve the problem

This is a good idea.Every big company must have educational institutions.Army has already started some.
