I HAVE BEEN TELLING THIS...........
by KRISHNAN DAMODARAN on Jan 30, 2019 11:03 AM

Yes. by clinging to the Govt, He will hit the last nail on the coffin of BJP Govt. Note Bandhi and GST very badly handled. He failed miserably to educate the effects and advantages of Note Bandhi. He has introduced GST at a haste. Still there are lot of loopholes and two months before a Mallu has been booked for malpractice of around 115 crores of re-fund in GST. He is the worst minister in NDA- BJP and I doubt whether he is working for NDA or for the benefit of opposition parties. Since all the data has come to the system, they should have employed 1 lac people in Income tax and catch hold of all the tax evadors

question whether arun jaitley is

The top most blunder of MODI sarkar are having Jaitly as Finance Minister. Arun jaitly failed in most important reforms i,e Demoitisation and GST.
And ignoring agriculture in tha name of reformist in yet another major blunder . Farmers are angy against this indiffernt finance minister and modi. Modi must fire this FM atleast in next term

If there is one person to quit be Mr. Arun jaitley.
by on Nov 09, 2018 01:43 AM

No not at all the finance minster is the sole responsible for the Economy of the country not the RBI Governor. RBI Governor is only the 12th man of the squad, the non playing man. If the responsibility is lies with the FM, then RBI should act before some thing ruin the Finance system of the nation. So let the RBI Governor understand better and develop good relationship as well as understanding with in the frame work of his job, but MR.Arun Jaitley, FM should not quit. but.....

Arun Jaitley failed as Finance Minister
by B BANDYOPADHYAY on Nov 08, 2018 08:52 PM

Even the enemies of Mr Arun Jaitley will not blame that he understands economics and finance. He lost in the election also which says the people have no confidence in him as an MP. But he became the Finance Minister through back door entry and proved how he could mess up the economy.

Jeitly failed in many economic fronts
by on Nov 08, 2018 04:11 PM  | Hide replies

The two things that dragged lowered the image of Modi govt are 1 having Jeitly as Finance minister and 2 ignoring agriculture. Initialy irked all country men with new Land acquisition (grabbing) act and later recall it
the big Demonitisation was partially success but Jeitly couild not make it a grand success. FM failed to make use of huge savings from low oil prices prevailed over four years not invested in building highways and dams. An agri infra and huge irrigation projects would have built from such savings. GST woukd have introduced with lower rates and made easier to comply laws but Jeitly made higher rates and gone for rivsion more than 100 times. Still people feel it is high .
MODI's choice for managing economy not correct. Yes Jeitly must go for winning 2019 elections

ALL POLITICAL LEADERS IN INDIA LACK PRUDENT OUTLOOKS.
by Debasish Mukherjee on Nov 08, 2018 12:24 AM

I fully agree with the Rediff news topic that it is Mr.Arun Jaitley who is entirely responsible for ruining India's economy. The BJP lead NDA Govt.first set the policy to restrict credits to the MSME & Agriculture sectors which affected the country's GDP. Then hurriedly went for Demonetisation which again destroyed more than a million of MSME & Farm segments affecting economy to an alarming level. It is this BJP Govt.who is pursuing to implement the destructive US economic policy in connivance with the unscrupulous Gujarati business houses Ambanis & Adanis. Now Mr.Jaitley wants the R.B.I. to allow Rs.3,60,000 crores fund to the NBFCs out of R.B.I's total reserve of Rs.3,70,000 crores and thereby to make R.B.I. a reserve free Banking regulator with the sole intention to allow Private sectors to take control of India's Financial sector including the regulatory control as prevailing in USA.This destructive policy has been mooted and attempted to implement by none other than Mr.Jaitley himself. Surprisingly why the Congress & other opposition parties could not realise imminent danger for the country or they have been heavily bribed by the Private business houses.

VK Aggarwal
RBI Governor
by VK Aggarwal on Nov 07, 2018 07:40 PM

FM wants to all blame for poor performance of his own and blame Governor. On one hand he wants to improve NPAs and on other increase NPAs by giving loans freely for increasing NPAs. ILFS downturn is due to faulty policies adopted by govt. nominees and not taking any corrective steps of ills present. Chanda was celebrated with Rattana's and ultimately go for mismanagement of leading private bank.
Section 7 would enable FM to dictate terms in the name of RBI or Governor and for its adverse effects will again blame Governor and ultimately hang him for all FMs acts and destroy economy as well as RBI's position. Party will blame RBI for its wrong actions even though in fact all these actions would be in the name RBI.
A good political game of legal luminary.
