Was Acharya right
by Ram Niwas on Nov 05, 2018 11:16 AM  | Hide replies

Yes RBI deputy RBI was right in telling public about the wrongs done by this Govt. This govt seems bent upon destrying all independant institutions. They want to control everything, may be inrght or wrong way just like demonetization. Govt has done enough mistakes and should at learn from them instaed of justifying everything. The foregn exchange reserve stand almost at same level as stoodat time of change of Govt in 2014. That reflects failure of jaitly amd modi both.

Narayanan V
Yashwant Sinha & RBI contraversy
by Narayanan V on Nov 05, 2018 11:10 AM

There are people, besides the media, who are bent upon sharpening the horns of bulls, so that they enjoy the thrill of watching others fight even on trivial issues. Yashwant Sinha is one among them. Modi Sarkar failed to honour him with a ministerial/ Governor / Ambassador berth, in the initial stage itself and without any takers he wants to be heard. Although Sec 7 of RBI Act, 1934 is a serious matter, i.e. when to be invoked, why the British enacted this act, with this provision, in 1934?. These kind of veterans may even say that it was Modi Sarkar / BJP which influenced the British in 1934 to include this proviso. If the section is not to remain in books, let us remove this section. But that does not mean the Government can invoke it whenever they wish to do. It is to be invoked in consultation with the RBI Governor only. Times are changing and accountability needs to be everywhere. Sometimes, you may need a surgery, but needs to be carefully done.

He has insulted all voters by way of calling them all the time tax evaders, he is not a democrat, cannot win even a municipal election.
Why Modi has kept him as FM, people will reply him in 2019.

Every Shop keeper, SMSE fudge their expenses and show lower profits. Salaried people dont show ther fixed deposits interest. Those who have evaded the tax the remark was directed against them.

A shop keeper works for 14 hours, does not have any perqs. like medical, leave, LTC, HRA etc.,etc., he is to spend out of his taxable income, this anomaly is created by govt. itself. How he will meet his expenses.

Thats why he is allowed to show only 8 percent profit of total turn over less than 2 cr. If all transaction are cashless further 2 percent is reduced. Even then they fudge. Salaried person dont show fixed deposit interest. They have many in various banks so TDS is also not deducted. If every citizen pay their taxes properly we need not tax the small salaried and small shopkeepers at all.

A frustrated, disgusted, discarded politician
by roshan sharma on Nov 05, 2018 10:56 AM  | Hide replies

Yashwant sinha is a discarded politician who once by mistake of Bajpayee Government was assigned finance portfolio which he badly failed to manage. Now he thinks he is the champion of finance. Out of politics for decades out of the subject for years, this man has suddenly woke up with so much of intelligence, deligence and confidence that he is challenging Modi and his cabinet collegues. But unfortunately no one is noticing him, due to this he is getting frustrated day by day and airing such nonsense comments on the qualified ministers of Modi Govt. Out of shere frustration that he alone can not dig the graves for Modi Govt he has finally joined jealous club of Kejriwals and Mamtas and antinationals. Still no one is noticing him, media also has rejected him. Perhaps he is digging his own grave and the grave for his son aslo who is holding a very important portfolio in the Modi Government. This man is so shameless that he is leaving no stone unturned to abuse Modi. What it indicates that he has become mad. May be some day his son will kick him out of his house for his irratic behaviour.

During or just before the time of elections politicians used to come out from a sinking ship and join green pastures - Those people are being accommodated by all the political parties, with reasons knowing to them (only). Now it has just started from the states where elections are announced. After the election it would continue still more depends on the outcome of the election. Reasons normally quoted are Autocratic, not recognized, anti-poor, anti-religion, anti-community, anti-farmers etc. and whichever suitable for them to come out/joining. It is unfortunate powerful and dominant parties are embracing them with folded hands.
