The biggest scam of all was pulled by BJP on the people of Andhra Pradesh, denying them their due funds, jobs, and infrastructure.
This has monetary value running into tens of lakhs of crores, and non-monetary livelihood value that is no less important.
Jaitley's most foolish act was that he did something that every salaried common man learns not to do -- to balance a budget based on presumed stock-market gains !
He thought that with the stock market in an apparent long bull run, he could sell some PSUs at a good price and use the proceeds to balance the budget ! And then the market turned bearish, and the bear-run was triggered by another hare-brained idea of LTCG tax.
But the biggest scam of BJP is non-monetary. They've invented an as yet detection-proof means of election-rigging that they successfully deployed in Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka, getting at least 20% more votes than they would otherwise have got.

no longer mention the words 2G scam and Coal scam (2gee eskaaaam and kol eskaaam according to Modi).
That is a sea change from how it was till about a year ago !
Perhaps the CBI judges observation (that the CBI was not serious in pursuing the 2G scam case) while acquitting the main culprits Anil Ambani, Raja and Kanimozhi has made Modi swallow his tongue in this matter !
Another scam, much larger than the 2G scam, that Modi and Jaitley would not talk about is the Rafale scam !
And yet, Modi and his minions publicly pretend that their govt is corruption free while in actual fact, they have been far more virulently corrupt than the Congress !
So assured are Modi and his minions about the extreme stupidity of North Indian commoners !

This govt, like the previous one, does not want to bring petrol and diesel under the GST regime.
Which is why the Modi govt is using the excuse of states not arriving at a consensus on GST to avoid reducing sales tax in Mah and M.P, where the tax rates are the highest in the country and are ruled by BJP govts !
