Why can't the BJP ruled states reduce the state taxes with immediate effect. Forget the opposition ruled states.
Show and tell the country you mean real business and are really worried about common man.
All vehicles must be stalled by owners as in where is conditions on all the roads inorder to protest.

Piyush interview
by Sane Voice on May 24, 2018 11:35 PM

FM is talking about coal gate scam of Rs. 186000 crores. All that sanghis are doing is just blabber about these scams. What action has been taken by the government? How many FIRs filed? How many convictions obtained? On the other hand, courts are discharging the accused. How long will this government keeps on only talking about scams? Is it to cover their own dismal performance on several parameters?

Reeking, nauseating interview on petrol
by Chaitanya on May 24, 2018 11:25 PM

The minister's interview is reeking of lies, half-truths, hypocrisy, cunningly crafted insinuations, insensitivity, politicking, and utter nonsense.

--He talks of State's tax, but conveniently forgets the Center's tax on petrol, APPLICABLE IN EVERY STATE !

--He says "I hope the non-BJP ruled states will agree to bring into GST". It's a cunning insinuation that BJP wants to bring petrol into GST, while non-BJP govts don't want. Till date, there HAS NOT BEEN A CATEGORICAL, OFFICIAL, STATEMENT OF INTENT OF BJP to include Petrol in GST. The truth is that the BJP is just not inclined to do it any time in the near future.

--And it is absolutely RIDICULOUS to even mention Andhra Pradesh in that list. The BJP has been CRIMINALLY STRANGLING the finance and economy of Andhra Pradesh WITH MALICIOUS GLEE these past 4 years, breaking EVERY COMMITMENT GIVEN to AP BY BJP and BY the PREV GOVT. This has left AP's budget in huge deficit. He has the audacity and temerity to bracket Andhra Pradesh with other states and ask for reduction of state tax on petrol !!

Go wash your mouth with Petrol, minister -- it might smell much better than it is now with your interview.

The states charging the highest
by piri on May 24, 2018 02:09 PM  | Hide replies

Sales tax for Petrol are

1. Maharashtra (nearly 40 %) and 2. M.P (more than 36 %) !!

Both are ruled by BJP governments !

While implying that it is not the centre that should reduce Excise duty on Petrol but the states should reduce Sales tax to ease the common mans burden, the BJP is very silent about why its governments in Maharashtra and M.P (that charge the higest rates of Sales tax on Petrol) are not doing the slightest in that direction !

The case is similar for Diesel too !

The BJP appears to have become so very confident about commoners stupidity !

Centre wants in under GST. It means all BJP ruled states will follow it and are inclined towards it. What about non-bjp ruled states?

The Mah FM himself stated to the press that states are not yet ready for GST for petrol and HSD.

And he evaded questions on why the ST on petrol and HSD is so high in Mah !

You can fool those gullible commoners of north India with diversionary talk like Modi keeps doing. But venturing out to try and fool everyone is akin to sticking your neck right in a guillotine; it only shows you are a fool yourself !

More tax please

It is an open loot by government which itself is not efficient to work more efficiently and thus taxing the common person more and more.

What is being done with these money is something which needs to be taken into consideration, all going into drain with no benefit for the common man.
