In 2014 the Modi Govt decided to control inflation. They were lucky that oil prices came down drastically. their other concern was food prices. Modi being a city man favouring the business community, never had any concern for the farmer. The govt ensured that food prices do not go up. Profit in food , if any, was being made by the middleman, and not the farmer. Farmer suicides had no effect on this Govt. Today no farmer wants his child to do farming. The governments pro-farmer schemes rest only on paper and the air-conditioned offices of the planning commission. 2019 will be crucial for BJP.

To keep fiscal deficit really down, the komaaaali went to France and renegotiated the Rafale deal with Dassault and agreed to purchase 36 Rafales for Rs 58000 crores against the earlier offer by Dassault to supply 126 Rafales for Rs 84000 crores in exchange for replacing the public sector HAL with the crony capitalist Anil Ambani !!

Modi govt. is officially looting all MIG and upper MIG in taxation in one way or other either putting more and more formats in Income Tax or GST, similarly all social security schemes are hiked viz. finishing subsidy on LPG, increasing health insurance premiums to be given by banks, putting Post Offices as bank not to provide service but to bring TDS there also. He is afraid of taking any action on any govt. servant or politicians DA linked salary, perqs. and pension and biggest liability is DA linked pension and medical of retired people as the average has gone up by 20 years. All at tax payers cost. Also perspire to put any control on population like others.
