Driver job in Uber/Ola is a formal job because they claim to be tech companies... Oris it a job in Microsoft,Google,TCS etc is only a formal job...? May be you are refering to the lowly clerk job in a village panchayata formal job..? Why all the Govts in the past 70 years have NOT createdformal jobs for everybody in India?

Chai pakoda seller makes 1 - 2 lakh per month depending on where you put your shop. I envy them and i earn 1 lakh but also work 10 - 16hrs per day. Chai - Pakkoda wallah works 12 hrs and he is not answerable to anyone and there is not deliverables for him. SO do not underestimate those jobs. Talk to any 30 yr old software engineer and all will say they are trying to come out of the job and start a small shop or be a cab driver.

Chai point was started by IITians and now have a turnover of more that 20 crore.. So every job including selling pakodas are now converted to profitable ventures by this young generation.. People who keep on criticizing including commies, rediff columnists are still busy protesting, complaining and mocking around.. Live in peace.. Read more on success stories of Macdonald, KFC and understand how these food giants became billion dollar companies in USA..
What to do? His Govt. is unable to create employment opportunities for youth, as per his outstanding speeches in 2014 elections. First tried to make as sweepers under swatch bharath programme, then pakoda sales men for easy daily earning with free snacks as welfare measure for youth!
