Difficult to keep govt. servants without public touch, they want it so as to mint money. Whatever Modi thinks, they want such laws, where people are compelled to tip these people.
Kanika , it seems that you know nothing about Indian taxation system's history. By comparing GST anti profiteering body with Licence Raj you are trying to mislead readers. The greedy manufacturers have tried to defeat the objectives of GST by not reducing the prices in proportion ( Earlier taxation was 12.48% ED on 70% MRP CST 2% Vat of 13.5 % octroi in Maharashtra etc). Pl do your homework before writing. I have managed pricing and BOM in relationship with taxation since 1990 with Industries as large as 20,000 Crores. Your article shows your anti Govt and anti PM views. Other two points I will not comment here as these are also wrong. Sharpen your knowledge before misleading. I am sure Rediff is very happy to publish anti Govt articles. Jai Hind
