Govt should bring out regulations to cut smuggling, cheating by jewellers on tax and PAN, hoarding of gold by people as black money, hoarding in temples, etc
that the govt of India does not have and never had the will to seize the necks of big time looters such as gold merchants and traders and wring out from them what is due from them !
The govt of India knows and takes only the easy way out - seize the necks of the unorganized classes (the middle classes and unorganized labour classes) !!
