PM can forget his promises not Nirav Modi
by K Bhaskaran on May 02, 2018 09:47 AM

Of 18,452 unelectrified villages, 76.58 percent or 14,132 villages were electrified in around 750 days from July 2015, when the scheme was launched, (as of June 2017), according to government data. However, out of the villages which were to benefit from the government's electrification drive, only 8 percent (or 1,145) villages got a power connection in all households, according to data in the power ministry’s Grameen Vidyutikaran (GARV) dashboard.., according to the criteria used by the power ministry since October 1997. With inputs from PTI.Living in the Dark: 240 Million Indians Have No Electricity. 50 million rural homes without power despite idle generation. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi pledged to bring reliable power to all citizens during the campaign that propelled him into office in 2014, the same year the World Bank pegged India as home to the world’s largest un-electrified population. While his government has made progress meeting its 2019 deadline, many families are still missing out, holding back some of India’s poorest, most-vulnerable citizens and preventing the country from achieving its development ambitions. In the year after Modi’s election, an audit identified 18,452 villages without electricity. Since then, that number has fallen by about two-thirds, leaving only 1 percent of the country’s total villages to be electrified, the data show. But a closer look at what constitutes “electrified” reveals how much furth

WHY MEDIA SILENT ON PNB SCAM BUT HAUNTING KARTI C'DMBRM ?
by damodaran mohan on Mar 13, 2018 05:17 PM  | Hide replies

Not really in-spite of his party BJP's full involvement in the latest PNB scam of over Rs12kCr he has managed to hold on successfully diverting attention away from the biggest BANK scam of Independent India. He has managed even avoid P-debate so far! Modiji as a virtual bachelor personally doesn't need any money but his party certainly needs it and in the process some people could have made money, we don’t know! For that investigation have to happen but Modi will not allow it managing to cover it up the way he saved his people in MP in Vyapam scam. Modi is very good in media management and has succeeded in cleverly diverting attention away from PNB scam to Karti Chidambaram using 2 English CHs propagate 24x7 feed from govt. investigating agencies , serve as only as temporary optics of diversions nothing more. PNB scam of 2017 is the biggest scam of Independent India but media hardly talks about it instead its reporters haunting Karti Chidambaram 24x7 in a decade old case the outcome of which looks dim.Why media and its reporter are not after Chanda Kochar or Shikha Sharma who were summoned by SFIO ? What did their representatives depose before the SFIO ? Why there is no media information on that ?What did PNB CMD Sunil Sharma had to say to SFIO on the scam ? Why media is not asking these questions? Because Modi has managed to silence them as the scam pertains to his own govt. and instead directed the media to let lose on Karti Chidambaram !It remains to be seen how

PM should do two things for India
by Sammer Bhagwat on Mar 12, 2018 08:34 PM

PM Should do two things for India.
1. Education should be responsibility of Govt-Stop rampant privatization of education. Else young population without adequate education will sell country like- Nirav, Choksi, Malliya, Kothari etc.
2. Start privatization of Public Sector Banks- SBI, PNB, Canara, All. Stop govt interference in Banks loans.
3. Start Privitization of AIR INDIA immediately. Allow govt people to travel by any domestic airline.
4. Build Grand Ram Temple at Ayodhya as place of worship of hindus.
5. Develop costal Areas as new cities- like Macau, Las-Vegas, Pattiya etc
and Hong kong, Singapore etc to attract foreign investment.
6. Involve foreign banks to invest in india.
7. Build Ports ( dry and Wet) around borders neighboring- China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Srilanka, Maldeives.
8. Build 10 new Airports international like IGI
9. Start new Bullet Train Railways, High speed Railways.
10. Govt should embrace Education for ALL and privatize Banks, Airlines, etc which is not govt business.

Where there is money there will be scams! society has to live with dishonest men. The PM of a country MUST know BIG BUSINESSMEN why and how should he basically a public man know about a person ( not just a businessman coming to meet him. Should he close himself in a closet? The nation is growing good and strong, we have Laws and HONEST OFFICERS TOO. Let us stop holding of PM responsible for the deeds of a few Dishonest Bankers who joined hands with a BAD businessman and duped our nation.
