Really appreciate the concept of OYO rooms when they planned to plunge in the sector where it targeted budget rooms with well maintained and hygiene. This was the requirement of a chunk of travellers because not everybody requires a room of 4star or 5star level as much of the middle class travellers would use the room only during night for a good sleep and for that the utmost requirement was neatness, hygiene and to be in the heart of any place. And OYO really maintains the room well while the Hotel people gives no priority for hygiene. Indians should encourage using OYO rooms than patronizing any outside investor like Airbnb or Trivago. Its good to see that OYO is venturing into premium as well Homestays also. And if OYO keep the quality of their service, its business will go. This way OYO also helps small Hotels which are struggling to survive and not ready to change with times by their interiors and hygiene.
