If the officials have not done anything wrong they should worry about the investigation by any agency. All the banks are louting the people's money if they are wrong it needs to be investigated. Bankers are not above the law f the land. This incidence of banking shows that one thief supporting other thief in the name of organisation. This is very bad for democracy. Organisation is interfering in the investigation.

But in case the charges turn out to be untrue, will the CBI and Ed people accept punishment and pay heavy compensation for loss of reputation and career of the banker ? An alternative could be to continue investigation without arrests and all the publicity it involves . Arrests to be made only after a designated court looks at all the evidence and gives a warrant. After all, our Govt employees are protected from prosecution by such laws.Why not the bankers ?
