The Mindset Change Desired

Hi All, Its an unappreciated Fact that taxes are collected from Business establishments. Its an accepted fact that Income Tax is levied at 6 - 8 %. And the businessess are charged @ 5 - 18 % and even 28 %. To put it in other words, the businessmen are giving the government more than what they give to I. Tax and much more than their profits. They are ambitious people who want to make something out of their life. In return what they get,
1. Very lean treatment by authorities at times
2. The working conditions are abmissal around their place of business
3. So many penalties and fear of doing business
They make I. tax, GST and generate employment etc.
So, first thing is the places around business establishments / Source place of Tax to Govt. must be well treated by giving good roads, toilets and mentors from Sales Tax and I.Tax to advise.
Finally, the rates of taxation should not be more than presumptive tax.
Alternately, Turnover Tax like Composition scheme is the best as devoids of maintaining so many accounts.
Will the government bring in a law to ensure the working environment of their Bread Winner is made better. Regards.

Nothing will happen till 2019

Though your case us valid and the Govt. must consider giving relief under GST and bringing petroleum products under GST, nothing will happen till after the 2019 elections, and that too, only if a stable Central Govt is formed then.

Limit of GST of 20 lakhs inclusive of all income, is creating problems for service providers and anti democratic mean or tax terror. Cutting of rates like 5% as has taken place in case of Hotel industry, this should also be implemented for small service providers - self employed upto Rs. 50 lakhs in services only.

This author has all wrong ideas on cutting taxes.First govt should bring 18% slab to 12%. This will give massive boost to service sector which created jobs.
Second GST on capital goods should be brought to 5% as this will help Make In India by reducing project cost. Revenue implication of this is nil because all buyers of capital goods anyway take this as input credit.
