easy said than done. in election year, all govts promise huge compensation and improvement but nothing has changed on ground. i strongly feel by all these compensation and waivers at the cost of common man has only made rural folks poorer in the long run and to an extent beggars in front of the banks.politics in the country seems to have no change over the years.feel aggrieved and hurt.

What non sense it is??, if they produce grass and claim that they lost whole life income then, is government give tax payer hard earned money to them cheaply??

Better let them commit suicide as it will reduce liability...

Package for sugarcane farmers

What nonsense is this? It is the farmers in the dry land regions who are suffering and committing suicide. And it is they who need support, and not Sugar cane growers who are well-off farmers. Instead of addressing the issues of the marginal farmers the govt seems to be focusing on supporting rich farmers that points more to politics than economics.
