Its wonderful of TATA Group authorities not to change the facade and exteriors of age old Bombay House because all the buildings in Fort area has a beauty and charm of their own gifted to us by the British. Unfortunately though in the quest of modernity, even though we are insensitive and incapable of maintaining what good we have received, many of the old buildings are renovated to give way to modern look. True as times change and as per requirement interiors can be changed, but we have no right to spoil the beauty of age old structures because no modern architecture or beautiful modern structure will stay as long as the old stone built and carved buildings. Fort and Churchgate areas were one of the most beautiful places in India itself which is spoiling due renovation, metro etc. Strange how it has got the tag from World Heritage. Difference between TATA and other industrialists is that TATA is committed and true to our society.
The heading is misleading. All the article has are photos of the traditional (unmodified) exterior. Those expecting pictures of the modernized interiors will be disappointed.
