Private sector

Mind set of govt. servants and politicians is to see them with distrust and tax evader, even our FM told this in parliament. We are to first make laws which should be practical, today GST limit of Rs.1 crore is nothing, normally on Rs.1 crore turnover what a small trader/industry will earn while his including family members working hours are unlimited, where in govt. sector a peon cost to govt. Rs.60000 p.m. including all perqs.
Similarly tax structure is very defective, on small small items and with a lot of accounting work for small persons, similarly Income tax is full of many if and buts.
How to bring this correction at least for small and medium size business and common tax payers.

PRIVATE ENTERPRISE AND CORRUPTION
by kulbir labana on Jul 15, 2018 06:41 AM  | Hide replies

There are some honest and hard working private enterpreneurs. We salute them. However most businesses were being run on public money by loans given by pliant and corrupt bankers. There are norms for giving loans, and a system of regular checks for monitoring these loans. The checks and monitoring never took place and the PSU bank employees had a great time in giving dubious loans to all and sundry. today most of them have become NPA's. Yet we do not see any accountability of these bankers. All corrupt bankers should be in jail, and they would be in hundreds.
Why is the Government soft on bankers?
There should be exemplary punishment for all who squandered public money.

You are ignoring the elephant in the room - the big political parties (earlier the Congress and now the BJP) that apply pressure on public sector banks to give away huge loans to crony capitalists and then receive big kickbacks to fund their very expensive election campaigns !

Corruption in DNA

When voters instead of asking and keeping check on politicians, starts to worship them and ignore their bad behavior, the doom started. With Neta-Gunda-Corporate nexus, everything has become fair under the sun, and no one is there to pay attention to law and order.

As a matter of fact, I have seen people with aadarsh becoming corrupt when given the power.

wishes to have the cake and eat it too !

He should acknowledge the biggest fact his own research further helps in establishing - that Indians in general are pathologically too corrupt to become a truly developed and prosperous society !

That a large segment of middle class India is far too stuxpid to understand the difference between true business acumen (displayed more by corporates that succeed in well regulated and competitive markets) and the kind of extremely corrupt manouvering of regulators and policy makers by big Indian corporates further compounds the prospects for India ever becoming truly developed !

Private Sector

Private sector is appearing to be thriving because of least accountability to the people. Government enterprises have CBI, CAG, Courts, Complaints, Constitutional safeguards to officials, RTI , public criticism and above all ethics to fear and worry about. So I wonder does Govt. sector manage to operate while strangulated by all these.
