Water crisis
by rajendra tare on Jul 09, 2018 09:11 AM

The most important remedy may be construction of stop dams on all small rivers and nallahas. Every 500 meters such check dams must be constructed. Government must promote drip irrigation and must implement measures to eradicate corruption in this.
Big Industries under CSR should be given the task of constructing such structures.
Farming based on HYDROPONICS and POLYHOUSES should be encouraged.
Was inquiring for training on hydroponics at Horticulture Institute Noida. The training fee was FIFTY THOUSAND for a couple of days!!!!
Is this Institute serving Indians or foreign nationals earning in dollars???
If this post is read by any responsible government official, he/she must ask this institute for such an act.

Apocalypse comes, it is certain that India will be the first big country which will be its victim !

No other country on earth (except Bangladesh) has compromised its ecological future and life sustainability remotely as much as India has done !

Life for coming generations certainly looks the toughest in India !

GW Recharge
by jkj on Jul 06, 2018 10:39 PM

A suggested approach to augment recharge is to use run off along roads for recharge through recharge trenches/ bores etc. These can be incorporated inder the berms and dividers. Also same method can be adopted in internal roads in residential colonies where the recharge trech/ well with bore can be made in front of every house with waste/ left over construction materialsand water from rooftop diverted to these.
