May be as you said. In case of excess production of any product leads to lesser demand would cost lesser price to the producers. I opin right or wrong, input cost to be much reduced based on demands - Govt does not have the adequate storage facility (for both perishable/grains) throughout the country to utilise certain products to keep for utilisation during drought.
Another factor which affects farmers: After acquiring/purchasing either by Govt or by big factories/companies payments are not being made within a reasonable time which affects farmers in so many ways inclusive of Capital and Interest on borrowings.
Delayed payments cause increase in NPA in Banks - escalation of interest after selling till realisation affects profitability - restricts/refusal from bank borrowings happens.

Do you or the opposition have any better alternatives when you or the opposition are criticizing anything and everything done by this government. Let RaGa & his team come out with better alternate options and present it to the people rather than just criticizing.

Because of loan waiver, now a day many farmers take loan only with the intent that it will be waived when a new government comes to power. That is what is reality. Many farmers who repay the loan end up repaying the loan amount but farmers with political support, big farmers end up benefiting the loan waiver.
That was a particularly vicious blast of foul stench laden air from the wormhole that is your mouth !
I tell you again. Begin to read in detail about farming related issues and about the long persisting agrarian crisis brought on and made worse by both Congress and BJP governments !
Read about the main causes of the agrarian crisis !
You can begin by making an effort (with whatever you have for a brain) to read extracts of the voluminous Swaminathan committee report.
Ever heard of Dr Swaminathan ?
Unless you know about it in some detail, dont venture out with comments. You will only keep exposing your ignorance and peabrain.
Oh, of course, the Swaminathan committee report is available in each of the 22 recognised languages of India. You dont have to worry about trying to read and understand a copy in English !

How many villages are there in India 2.What is Gross cultivated square hectare yield in India and how many tractors are used in this measurement unit. How many world wide 3. What is main diff between Rabi & Kharib and how many crops in a year for both are sowed and in which states. 4. What is NABARD and how much and what it has helped Indian farmers from 2000 onwards. What is the NPA of NABARD as of date 5.What is really MSP , what is MSP for rice and at what price farmers are selling to e chaupal. Which co has started this concept 6. Ask your swaminathan for above answers if you really know him old man 7.When were land reforms brought in India , how many farmers u know have 1000 hectares of land in India and which crop they grow(???? confused old man) Try to answer these before throttling ur tongue here. Also by the way what is ur qualification and how much itax u paid so far , before spitting venom on India PM. So, care to answer my basic query about why the UPA and the NDA avoided implementation (or even taking up for serious consideration) of the principal recommendations of the MSS commission ?

Commenting as well as Querying is very much easy. Me as an individual has my opinion, you have your opinion but there is a common opinion. Individuals opinion are mostly limited. Based on the EXPERIENCE with little knowledge of economy A farmer and trader could answer better than a literate who works/worked in other field knows a little.

Why no one talked about MS Swaminathan report after it submitted in 2016. Cong. ruled from 2004 to 2013 but no one talked about implementation. Suddenly everyone woke up and wants it to be implemented after 2014 ?. Hope you are aware what was the status of our economy when NDA came to power in 2014 ?. Inflation was close to 10%, GDP was less than 5.5%. Any sensible government would not go for spending money before stabilising the economy.

British modern medical services reduced death rate and increased life-span. 4. English language helped India to become a global tech & educational power, in spite of some shortcomings. 5. British rule considerably weakened the barbaric caste-system, superstitions, ignorance, etc strongly rooted in Indian psyche, though remnants remain. 6. No doubt Hinduism is the most secular, literature-rich religion, but Indians live in constant delusion—believing ancient Indian literature has all sci & tech; in 2000 BC, 90% were literate & rich; Indian economy 27% of world economy in 1700, etc. These are all lies invented by scoundrels to fool Indians.
