Most of the National highways are not up to the standard required. They are not maintained properly, after laying them. Toll collected is far too high,it is daylight robbery.

As per my observations, the roads constructed as National Highways, and under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sarak Yojna are of reasonable good quality and serving the cause. The construction of roads touched new heights under Gadkari. Yes still lot of scope for implementation and improvement.
Let efforts be made to cut short on completion time & safe guards be in place to prevent serious accidents as it happen at Yamuna Express way.One can take cue from other advanced countries that how we can make high ways safe for commuters.Let toll to be charged should take care of monitoring crew so as to create discipline among users. For defaulters high penalties be there in place.Speed limits be imposed so as to achieve "Better Late then Never"
