The Author of the article need not have dragged the Iyer and Iyengar episode to explain his views on the present functioning of RBI and Finance Ministry. It is certainly not in good taste. I do not know why such things are permitted by REDIFF.
When it is a matter of wage revision in 2016 putting total country into Rs. one lakh crore impact, or facilities to politicians, govt. servants, and judiciary- all are one. To give benefit to common man-all are divided, resources come in the way. This bias is continuing from 1950 onward just to appease permanent govt. i.e. govt. servants without understanding the paying capacity, as people are goats to be taxed.
