Mrs.Saraogi, the wonderful human being
by keshavmurthy k on Jan 16, 2018 12:59 PM

It's nice to know about the business acumen of Mrs. Saraogi of which I have some personal knowledge. What is also true is that she is a great human being whose social graces are no less than the best. She keeps everything at such a low key that you feel humbled in her presence.

What an achiever. I was quite inspired. Hope to see more of Desi achiever stories like these.

I can name a few from South, Rajagopal of Lakshmi Mills , R. Chockalingam of Srinivasa Fine Arts, Ramraj of Ramraj Dhoties, Selvarathanam of Saravana Stores, Mallika Srinivasan of TAFE

Balrampur Chini Mills
by Srinivas Janardhan Sandhikar on Jan 16, 2018 10:06 AM

The best part of this story line is that Farmers have benefited from her no-nonsense approach to run a Sugar Mill..What sugarcane price mill offers to farmers was not mentioned..In Gujarat, it is learnt that mills give Rs 3500 per tonne well ahead of Maharashtra where they pay Rs 2500.This Balrampur story apart,Such stories are needed to be replicated across all sectors in India..Else China, China & China..Hope every one understood the message..Good Day & Bye

Why these are not taught in the MBA or BBA classes ! we never learn how to respect our own great achievers . All through the period from Independence we have done this - just see how rest of the world teaches about their heritage ,culture , great nationalists -we have been ruined by anti Indian thinking

quite true. We do not respect ourselves enough. Few invaders came in and ruled us because we were willing to be bought and sold and had low self respect throughout history. We will pay the price.
