Naturally corrupt have no other go than keeping in benami properties,a practice going on for last 70 yrs without any problem as long as technology not developed was on today with spy cameras,sting operations,many TV channels,media ATTN and alertness of public. This forcing govt to raid big fish with crores in benami properties & taking action which is long due.Same way rich wantonly& deliberately issuing bogus cheques to harass customers into despair with cheque bounce cases running for years should also be penalized with 100% penalty if they evade arrest warrants for more than3 months&reported whereabouts not known by police responsible for their arrest
Known to all that most of the benami properties some decades back were held by Politicians,but even bureaucracy and officers of dept notorious for corruption too taking a leaf from politicians in investing in benami names their black money and this went on successfully till internet/twitter/Facebook/CCTV/sting operations/Big news& TV media became very active in exploding many big fish with disproportionate assets many times their known income,forcing govt to initiate action against them by directing vigilance cell to conduct raids to pacify angry public,but this is only 1% of many such cases.Only when politicians set an example by acting honest then only govt depts fear for govt and automatically corruption comes down.otherwise Yatha Raja Thatha Praja.Example is Lalllu prasads case.such kind of politicians in India many,as readers are well aware.Corruption has become a routine normal thing for Indian people to get their things done without difficulty and as long as public don't mind paying for favors,this corrupt breed of govt machinery&operators survive like cockroaches for longtime notwithstanding isolated cases of confiscating benami properties to pacify angry media& public
