THe UPA governments were co-alition governments with regional parties. All these regional parties has no national concept and they try to lick their hand while sugar is on it.THe unscrupulous congress stalwarts were not in the other side, they also got their own share.Any how a fully corrupt set is running here;whether it is governments, top officials or judiciary, all are corrupt to the core.Let the youth unite to change the system now prevalent or else face a complete debacle in the near future,

We do not have any accountability of govt. servants as well as of any politicians, over that judges are also not accountable to anyone. Only un-organised common voter is accountable and is always under stress and strain to pay taxes and accept dictum of all three above.

2G allotment
by Gladyschellam on Jan 07, 2018 08:08 AM

CAG report - is an assumption- if auctioned the govt could gain 1.76 lakh crore. Existing rule seems to be on First come First basis. Had this rule been followed without any flaw or favouritism, cannot be questioned. While implementation after allotment, had anything wrong found it is questionable. As it was referred to Supreme Court, it passed the order for auctioning-while doing so it cancelled the allotment - does not mean the govt is wrong. After the ruling govt was to frame fresh rules thru Parliament. That is the reason, right from beginning Mr Raja argued as it is not a fit case and won. All opposition parties had make it big.

And who on earth can pay Rs 1.76 Lac Crore for Spectrum
by jastine m on Jan 06, 2018 03:18 PM

Even today nobody can pay Rs 1.76 Lac crore for Spectrum. One has to borrow heavily from Banks even to pay mere Rs 5000 crore just like Vijay Mallya did. So Indians should grow up and not get fooled by these stories of Lacs of Crores as if money is grown on trees. No one has this kind of money even now and were are talking about medieval 2008

There was an article by DR Surjit Bhalla in the BS where he had calculated the loss on 2G spectrum based on the profits made by the licensees on actual data made available by sale of spectrum. The figure was somewhere around 115000 crores.
The most sensible solution is to take that report and file the case against those industrialists (Ratan tata, Birlas and Anil ambanis inlcuded) for illegal gratification. The truth will come out.
However this is an utopian situation because all these moneybags control the political parties also!

Vijay Mallya Borrowed Rs 7500 crore from Banks and he is on the run. So where on earth could have poor Indian companies found out Rs 115000 crore that too back in 2008. Which Indian Co or list of companies together could have shelled out Rs 115000 crore in 2008 when 2G spectrum was auctioned. How much loans should have banks given these Companies. And how could these Companies recover the loans if the Call Rates were going to be slashed to 1 paise/Minute. Now these Telecom Companies are in big trouble because of High NPA's. Even the famed Vijay Mallya could not repay mere Rs 7500 crore to banks. And one is talking about Rs 115000 crore. How on earth will companies pay back such a huge amount? Its easy to talk about fictitious non existent sums. But at least one should do the math before agitating
