Differ with the views. Indian Agriculture is not suffering for want or adoption of any technologies or skilled manpower or anything. Its purely Govt. neglect and apathy and exploitation of farmers in all respects. Else we have such quality manpower in farming sector that if they are just helped with proper water provision, power provision and save from natural calamities and fury, Indian agriculture will thrive to be the best that can serve the world. All the suggestions are only excuses in not concentrating on Agriculture and fishing up all the budge for the same to individual pockets.
Indian Agriculture needs? 1)Trained man power in all aspects of Rural development,that is Rural commerce,value addition & marketing,Agriculture,Animal management & Rural health. 2)Rural co operatives & big scale operation. 3)Plenty of Governmental assistance and R & D.
suggestions 1. find market for agro produces. 2. identify cost effective zones for each product. 3. have tie up with farmers to produce required quantities of each crop farmers should get at least 50% above cost of production for their produce. 4. Do not over produce and spoil the market. 5. do not link Agri/horti departments to these businesses otherwise they will loot both departments and farmers
