Pretty much every number , stat or fact of real estate is doctored. You can not trust any thing what real estate in India claims. They are all manipulated numbers to make it look BOOMING.
Fact of the matter is India in general and Metros of India in Particular have become insanely expensive for a prospective business person to set shop in.
So even Indian companies are setting their service centers in cities of the far east like Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan and Vietnam.
The only thing growing in Mumbai is real estate prices. It is like the real estate killed pretty much any prospect of new businesses being set up or expanding.
At 18500 per month for a 80 seat office, it is twice as expensive as any Asian countries. So why would any one in his right mind set up an office in Andheri ?
Wonder if they have stats of how many businesses have shut shops owing to this unbearable real estate expenses. Especially in Andheri Area and BKC.
