Watch on banks by RBI
by VK Aggarwal on Dec 31, 2018 06:34 PM

Along with watch enforcement through checks, controls and supervision is a must for knowing policy and directions implementation. There are several requirements made and revised but implementation is for name sake by inadequate appointments and in most cases at a remuneration/fee so low that it may not be matching with payment to unskilled workers or not sufficient to meet even conveyance expenses for meeting requirements.

Bank's performance
by UPENDRA NATH BORA on Dec 31, 2018 05:59 PM

All banks should be reminded that the budgetary grants to banks are citizen's hard earned tax money. They have no right to make 12 % NPA and then say, govt to help with budgetary grants sometimes 25000 crores, sometimes 20000 crores, sometimes 30000 crores etc. Why can't we make the banks accountable ? If they can not perform let them perish. What is this tamasha of all India bank strike. Are you parasites to spoil tax payers money ? We have heard many things... prudential norms, NPA,CLEANSING OF BALANCE SHEET ETC. Citizens do not want all these. They want performers. If you can perform, survive otherwise you perish.. a simple formula. If the private sector banks can get the repayment why not you. Pl introspect. Ask any citizen, he will say.. how to pay where. Don't try to derail in the name of govt schemes loans. You know the figures. A last chance should be given to public sector banks to either perform or perish. NPA will say about the fruit. With warm regards, Dr Upendranath Bora.
