What the weakening of rupee has to do in this case. The reason is that most of the Indian manufacturers are fooling. Even the companies who were manufacturing ACs 40 years back are importing from China and putting their stamp.
We were told by the government that everything will become atleast 10% cheaper when GST comes but everything including medicines has become 15% more expensive..Mr Finanace Minister pl have somebody in your team who can add.

This government at the centre is follower of Gandhiji's three monkeys - they do not see, do not listen and do not speak. Sadly,common man goes on with his suffering in his daily grind.

Hope you read the article in full. The price rise has nothing to do with any new taxes that are being levied or GST. Commodities like Oil and Metals have gone up and that is the reason for increase in the price according to the article.

Government should try to keep the promises made to the people. Even if they could partially do it, people will not resent. But if the government is doing just the reverse of what they promised, it pains.
