AI?
by V Nagarajan on Apr 18, 2018 09:23 AM

AI has been ruined beyond repair. No one can rectify it except God.No one will buy it also at the price we are trying to quote.Only the DGCA licence to fly in/from India may be worth something.

Air India, and all that
by daniel thorat on Apr 17, 2018 08:57 PM

A simple comparative study of what Air-India pays out for everything including personnel, pilots, maintenance, fuel etc. etc.with what other big international airlines like Lufthansa, BA, Singapore Airlines, Qatar etc. etc. should show us where we have gone wrong. Then do the slashing everywhere and run it as Air-India. But, before that, create alternative jobs for the AI people who will most surely have to be relieved, otherwise Indian govt. will have a bigger problem than running AI.

Did any one ask his opinion? Did he give his opinion on women/child safety?

Instead of talking on other things like gaumutra, ayurved and things relating to religion and great Indian culture, the RSS is revealing his authority and understanding of highly complex issues like running a national airline weighed down to ruin by utter mismanagement of the same by the govt. Yes, there were some great ministers who spoke about "plastic surgery" and Amrit, but advising on running Air India seems highly presumptuous. But, who knows, the Modi govt. may be inclined to obey these views.

He knows that the PM who has grabbed total power in himself has to be obedient to him. So, he surely feels free to make such suggestions.

because their charges, their services many their flights many things not so good...for long it survived on haj subsidy from muslims...now even that is gone...PMO not paying 100s of crores it owes to air india for PM's foreign visits...in such conditions how much profitable it can be? why will any pvt party be interested???

Tata, Birla, Reliance etc. will only take AI if they can make profits; surely no industrialist will buy and run AI to march towards bankruptcy ! Mallya did enjoy life and did all that, but had to flee with a lot of India`s money. The problems to ensure commercial viability are slashing down expenses all around.
