She must resign and defend herself in Court
by dev sak on Apr 11, 2018 11:15 AM

If she is so lilly white, then let her resign and defend her position in Court. It seems there are more skeletons in the cupboard than we know of.

The writer is senile & himself needs to be investigated
by Inzzy on Apr 11, 2018 10:21 AM

Did Chanda Kochhar misuse her position to benefit herself & her husband? This is for the investigators to confirm but for the time being she should step aside till her name is cleared. As of now the rest is all speculation but as CEO she should have been clinical in her approach. She should have alienated Videocon from engaging with ICICI in any way or ensured that her husband gives up his stake given that he was dealing with Videocon as a business partner & not as a social acquaintance. She should have been aware that any misconduct or mis-governance charges could stick if they were to come up yet she chose to go ahead & no doubt must pay the price today now that things are out in the public domain. Remember the adage that not only Caesar but Caesar's wife must also be seen to be above board. I would also think that the CBI should be investigating S. Muralidharan (the author) because if he can give a clean chit to Ms Kochhar on both moral & legal grounds then he himself must come under the scanner & his term as MD of BNP Paribas needs to be probed thoroughly. He can have an opinion but if he is trying to prejudge the investigation then no mercy should be shown.

one banker supporting another banker. The very fact that there is conflict of interest by icicibank lending 3.5k crores to Dhoot of Videocon and dhoot having an interest in deepak kochars firms. It is not a remote possibility that Chanda kochar is not aware of the financial dealings of her husband and Dhoot

both husband and wife should be punished.

ICICI Chairman is also equally responsible along with her husband. CBI should take them in custody like any other criminal and file charge sheet. It is public money and no one is permitted to loot like this.

Ask that shameless lady to resign, Mr. Muralidharan
by nagarnaru omgayatri on Apr 11, 2018 09:45 AM

Do not try to whitewash her crimes. Her husband & brother-in-law are under CBI interrogation and are virtually under house arrest. This shameless lady is still continuing in Office. If she is innocent as you make her out, ask her to put down her papers first.

Clean chit!
by awaz on Apr 11, 2018 09:39 AM  | Hide replies

Seems the writer is convinced that anybody who is so rich as Ms Kochhar can not be corrupt. Natural for a man who served a bank for 20 long years.

It is not correct to say anybody who is rich can not corrupt. But Chanda is rich because she was & is corrupt.
