Dear Manish,
Your concern about the MPs & MLAs is quite justified but they will not change voluntarily. There has to be a revolt against the present mockery of democracy in this country which presupposes great sacrifices from oppressed people like peasantry and working class. Without this, politicians will continue using these people as simply vote banks and offer freebees before every elections and forget their promises once they come to power.

Pensioners confused !!!!!!!
by SRINIVASAN on Apr 11, 2018 12:04 PM

New ITR-1, unlike the earlier one, has no provision for mentioning Pension income. If one mentions Pension income in the column "SALARY INCOME", system is asking for salary break-up, which is not applicable to Pensioner. I wonder if the ITR-1 needs modification by CBTD to make room for inclusion of Pension income or provide a separate column for Pension. Hope CBTD would clarify and do the needful.

What we get in returns ????
by Pinto Sakar on Apr 11, 2018 09:06 AM

After paying taxes we get no good services nor any medical supports and old age supports from any state or centre government in India like other country they give huge supports bonanza for old age peoples. We Tax payers are not here to feed all bull sheets things. There must uniform taxes on all goods in the names of GST system and no more other taxes to levied from salaried peoples. because we do not work for others.

Bad treatment of salaried class
by Muhammed on Apr 10, 2018 03:01 PM  | Hide replies

Only people in India who pay tax honestly (willingly or willingly) are salaried class people.. And Govt is trying to tighten things for them always. If you are really looking out for unpaid tax money, seriously start investigating all govt officials, bureaucrats, businessmen - you will find plenty of money there..but the question is Govt willing to do so? everybody knows the answer, so squeeze more out of salaried class people.

Why is it that only the salaried people are harrassed and why not the politicians. Ministers get so many freebies like free petrol, free tarin and air fare, free phone calls, free housing etc, do they disclose. It is high time that we vote for a government which is sensitive to salaried class. Shame on you ministers, Not doing any work, disrupting the parliament, calling for strikes and hartals and yet enjoying everything free

salaried class is the only one who does not want to do anything by themselves. they want everything to be spoon fed. instead of cribbing, start planning and doing things. if you take care of many small things by yourself, it will add up to a tidy sum in itself. It looks like most salaried class want to become corrupt like the politicians. No wonder the country is going corrupt.
