Corporate governance(CG) is only applicable to low and mid management. Higher management are always off the CG. The banks have a policy of not having same guy being a manager of a branch for more than 3 years and no guy can serve in the regional office or credit office for more than 2-3 years.. But when it comes to CEO,CFO of the banks, they are all appointed for life term..You need to just manage your relationship with your board and chairman , attend bollywood and high rank parties with high fashion, get some awards from BT and ET , deliver high funda lecture...Then life continues ...
