Well said. BJP & Modi have also turned up like the others. Basic hygiene and safety in Railways have not been addressed but Modi saab is behind bullet trains. Employment can be generated in maintaining ordinary tracks, filling up vacancies. Of course unions should stop haggling for raise in pays every now and then. Then instead of complete automation, we can have jobs as well as work. Govt. employees are pampered and so lot of automation is happening resulting in lossof jobs. We should have a system where it is win win for all.

Pellet guns, FAKE SURGICAL ATTACK, BLACKMONEY FAKE PROMISE, DEMONITISATION, COW RAKSHAKS VIOLENCE,MAKING INSTABILITY IN NON BJP RULING STATES,NEET,IMPOSITION OF HINDHI, GDP LOSS, Aadhar, religon based politics Etc.. & yet lot will come once in a week that is their stretegy to confuse people against which they should protes of fight

just 4 compartment for the rich BJP
by Rajendran Srinivasan on Sep 14, 2017 09:53 PM  | Hide replies

This is purely a wasteful project for Indians where 8% (10 crores- 100 millions are poverty stricken and beggars) of the total exploded population in Bharat desh. On whose money this project is implemented? In bullet train the ticket fare is more than flight charge. Just 5 compartments !. So many 'passenger trains' are required for our Bharath citizens. This Bullet train is a waste of public money.
This govt supports only rich. The present govt
policies makes rich to poor and poor to beggars. Looting hard earned money in digital system in banks in intolerable by the HIG,MIG,LIG and BIG (Beggars income group). Only British can save us..They looted only to a minimum extent. They helped Bharath to grow. Farmers are suffering. This BULLET money
should have been spent to agricultural sector and
water sharing. Prices are high because of GST!!

He failed to penalise single person termed corrupt under UPA regime by him. He failed to bring ache din in all terms even when petroleum price is lowest. Only gullible common men are happy with his step of notebandi considering black money holders are more hurt than them. He failed to create sab ke sath sab ke vikas and hindu hooliganism is rampant. If he is allowed one more term Indians will fight with themselves over language and culture. Bajpayee created express way and gone. Let him also go with bullet train. Let us consider NaMo a failed mission and be ready to tolerate financial corruption behind than the serious downward movement of all on the face.

This very financial corruption which you are ready to face again& again, shows how short sighted you are & all those who cling on to such a view.
The corruption is like a parasite, it has penetrated deep in to the system , from where it refuses to budge .
And if people are asking for reports on all the points mentioned, i fail to understand, why we never seeked a report card from the previous se tof govt over 60 yrs. Garibi hatao , was one of the clarion call. Did Garibi go away? Why ? Did you ask that question Soumitra. If not why ?
Accepted there is hardships, but if you want to change the situation, some real hard actions are needed. The mute question is are we as a nation , willing to bring about the change in each one of us , looks no to me , but i am still being optimistic, as some one is trying sincerely to change the narrative.

Wrong comparison
by V S on Sep 14, 2017 11:10 AM  | Hide replies

Bullet train needs dedicated tracks and will burden the middle class with more taxes for decades. It is a huge strain .

Bullet train is not a commodity item like maruti car or cellphone. Therefore it will remain out of reach of common man.

What Modi should have done was focus on Spanish Talgo trains which can go upto 200 kmph on existing tracks and also upgrade all coaches on Indian trains to lighter german design. speeds of upto 150 kmph should have been made the norm.

Why we need aeroplanes airports for internal travels? Our country has been kept poor for almost 70 years....Japan China all have progressed much where as our country is still considered developing country.... Corruption, Gandgi, Indiscipline are the main causes of our non development....Bullet train will give jobs, new technology... In future we will assist other countries for bullet. whatever you said is not from govt but it is from us. everything like corruption, gandgi, indiscipline are made by people and not govt. if you are correct not a single govt can do any corruption. First we have to improve. some one says like mobile, maruti cars are reach to common man who can afford but not bullet train. Yes it is required but only time will tell how much job creation in this bullet trainl Japnees workers never go on strike instead of they produce more than requirement and ask the management to sell and give bonus but in India every thing we have get from strike.Bullet train announced today simultaneously they should take care of Mumbai local train where common people are travelling. We are master only for 70 years rule and not any problem today are facing.

do you know between this 500 odd kms., how many stops are envisaged for this particular train ? i guess that would bring down the speed to less than that of Shatabdi. Then what is the use of having a bullet train if it has to be stopped at all stations in the first instance.

Secondly, stop shifting blame to previous governments for the failures of BJP administration. we are tired of hearing 60 / 70 years of governance achieved nothing for the country. Now, if anyone is found using this language, i would advise his friends to take such persons to mental assylum.

and the feasibility study for bullet trains were started and the works were in progress since 2006. this was not BJPs project but was started by earlier governemnts. so, stop shifting credit to anyone. It is India's project and only people of India would decide if they require it.

I still fail to understand how bullet train would attain a speed of 350 KM / hour & for how long , when 12 stops are purposed in a total distance of 500 KM ?
Further it would have been more prudent & appropriate to have metros in at least 10 odd cities instead a single bullet train from Ahmedabad to Mumbai , provided if there are some other extraneous considerations

With what MRV says, we are getting interest free loan for bullet trains. So the majority of repayment will be footed from the revenue. But yes taxes might be levied for it. For that matter won't we incur more taxes if we go with Talgo option for which funding of this sort won't come and we need to borrow at higher interest rate?!!!

Also MRV has answered it. It is not this or that. We need Bullet trains in some select sectors, Talgo in some existing routes & lines, Rajdhanis and Shatabdis with increased speed, and finally the expresses and passengers with increased speed to cater to all class of people. So all possible options have to be worked on, and not instead of this that. Nehru onwards every PM of India has been saying that Rlys is India's backbone for commutation. If so it cannot have one sarva roga nivarani. It needs multiple methods of modernization and betterment with appropriate lessening of burden and shrewd ways.

What we should worry about is how we would operate and maintain it. They should not endup like Volvo buses of TNSTC which are also breaking down in Chennai!!!

When farmers are struggling to make a living, this wasteful project is to be stopped at all costs.Instead this Rs.98000 crores would be well spent on water resources, infrastructure improvement, education et c.One would hope some socially powerful people will put a PIL to stop this project

That is Modi's power of negotiation....Japan will NOT give 98,000 crores to repay the farmers...but the farmers enroute on the bullet train will make money from booming real estate appreciation...
